Determined to watch Les Miserables today, we went to the TKTS booth at Leicester Square to get tickets at 10.30am. TKTS has a daily sale where they sell tickets that can be 10-20 pounds cheaper than other places. Check it out
here. We managed to get Centre Stall tickets for 39.50 pounds each. Then we cycled to Borough Market, but most of the stalls were closed, so it wasn't a super great experience. Thankfully some of the stalls are opened for lunch and we managed to try some scotched eggs with sweet potato fries, which were surprisingly filly.
Afterwards, I went to do more shopping and visit places like Primark (again), Urban Outfitters, Marks & Spencer and Whole Foods. Had dinner at Shake Shack before going to Queen's Theatre for Les Miserables.
Sadly, Les Miserables wasn't as good as I had hoped, but it might be because I compared it to front row seats in Wicked. Also, the cast wasn't as strong as the Wicked one, but the props were very good. Story was enjoyable but I don't really get why it is a classic, probably because the genre doesn't appeal to me as much as Wicked.
